This was my second time photographing a wedding at the Hawk Gallery in downtown Columbus. It is a small gallery that has lots of really nice glass pieces (much of it way overpriced for Ohio)… but its fun to look at. The first time I shot a wedding there I nearly knocked part of an art piece off of the wall while reacting to a photographic opportunity. When I felt my back rub up against it and heard it shift on its wall mount, my heart sunk. Fortunately it did not drop to the ground. If it did… I would run away. Pricetag on that piece was $249,000!

Robb and Rachael had the best weather of the summer… it was perfect. It was a great day with lots of personal touches. Rachael’s mother brought wine from her hometown of Finger Lakes, and all of the favors were handmade as well… Best of luck to you two!
