At one of last summer’s many cookouts, I took the opportunity to photograph some of my friends in my parents backyard with my Hasselblad. My dad’s freshly built porch ‘roof’ gives the photos with an interesting background. The portraits themselves are not too amazing… but they are honest, and the light was nice!

The film was developed at Chelsea Photographic, and due to the high cost of having them print or scan, I had them return the negatives. I just had the chance to scan in the negatives on a nice Epson V750 Pro. These shots were taken with Kodak Porta 400NC and I am blown away with the quality and the color of the film. The few BW shots were taken on Fuji Acros 100.
