There is something to be said about a family that welcomes you into theirs as if you have known them your whole life. Although I had yet to ever meet this couple, or their families, they went out of their way to make my wife and I feel like we were a part of the gang. We were invited to their house in a plantation the night before and we had a lot of fun spending the evening casually with them.

It’s nice to be a part of such a special day when you don’t feel like you are just a vendor, but a guest. It’s days like these that make me think the world isn’t so bad after all! The day went off without a hitch, despite a nasty storm cell threatening to sweep down and wash us out to sea. Kyle and Kellie’s faces were full of smiles and tears… just the way it should be!

A few from the night before…

Wedding day…

We had a streaker!!!!

Not really… would have been funny though…

After getting sun scorched a few days before the wedding, and looking a like Hellboy’s long lost twin from Ohio (only with more hair), I was not looking forward to waddling my way around with a bunch of camera gear hanging on my pink hide. To make matters worse, my wife was burned so badly (due to a really bad application of spray-on sunscreen) that her legs were swelling up and she couldn’t move. We spent most of the time in the hotel room with the curtains closed only moving to apply our next gallon of Sarna ( a new found lotion that works wonders by the way). Thankfully it was indeed a beach wedding… and I was able to wear shorts and a wifebeater. Actually, I did wear a shirt… but thankfully no tie was required
