A little about me…

Over the last six years I have come a long way with my photography. As I first started seriously shooting, I questioned if abandoning med school was a good choice. Now, I am fully certain that I have made the right decision in pursuing a creative career, not to mention I passed out the first time I was in a room with a cadaver anyways… long story… stitches to prove it!

As the years pass, I find myself more and more caught up in all aspects of imaging.  I recently bought a Hasselblad and started shooting medium format film. I am finding the nuances of film to be quite beautiful and organic. I have also found a new love in ‘movin’ pictures and have shot several videos, which have all taught me a little more about the art of cinematography.

Long term, I would like to see myself on the set of a feature film, commercial shoot, or television series operating a camera, or if I am lucky… calling the shots.  But, that is a long ways off…

As for now I will continue to deliver top notch photos to all of my wonderful clients and let the rest come when He decides its time… after all, He is the one who has gotten me where I am today!
